I am a native, Mandarin-speaking certified, professional teacher, using standard Putonghau dialect. I am in my mid-30s and so I have been teaching expats from many different countries for many years. I am well aware of the particular problems you can meet as a student of Chinese and have particularly customised my classes towards surmounting these difficulties. I concentrate on correct pronunciation of the tones, thereby forging a strong foundation that can be readily built upon.
